I have the same question 0. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You’ll get a message, the printer is not connected. This thread is locked. Tell us about your experience with our site.

Please see the advice of PudgyOne in the Dell forums here: Basically you use the Vista drivers in compatibility mode in Windows 7. Download and run the patch printer cleanup utility until it prompts you to restart your computer. And I also go on the Windows 7 Compatibility Center advice, which states that it is not compatibile. The cartridges I delll say that they can be used with,and I really can’t afford a brand new PC right now.

Connect the printer at this time powered on. First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
