LACIE ESATA EXPRESSCARD 34 DRIVER

I talked with LaCie about this and they indicated it’s a firmware issue but didn’t explain if it was in the 2Big drive or this device. What can be better than being able to use USB 3. Granted it’s not as much as advertised, but that could be the fault of either the disk, the card, or the driver used.

I need this because I use virtual machine for everything these days through Fusion on my MacBook Pro.

Connected drives won’t spin up when the Mac starts. It works fine and is fast. Adds two USB 3. Not the fault of the card but of the OSX.

This device worked great for me when used with Mobdin’s patched LaCie driver to enable use on non-LaCie drives. It transferred 7 GBS of video to the drive in 2 min!!

Fastkey would not mount on my macbook pro. Please consult the LaCie website for information on which Mac laptops are compatible.

Also at times when you put the computer to sleep it won’t wake up the connected device. The connector is secure but very tight. There’s also a problem with OS X And boy was I right!! See any errors on this page? Unplugging the connected device sometimes causes you to unplug the card. You have to unplug and replug the device to mount it.
