BLUETOOTH BCM2045B DRIVER
After 2 weeks I have tried all the easy stuff Forums Knowledge Base Blogs. Driver Provider Broadcom Driver Date: I have been researching and tried every driver I could find. Lenovo Support would needed beyond those. However it never shows any bluetooth device after searching.

This makes it impossible to use the Bluetooth adapter through them.
This behavior confuses most of the GUI applets that are used by the modern distributions, since they expect to have an operational adapter after the first attempt to enable it. It is set to allow bluetooth devices. Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

Hi, Anything is possible, to try to rule out Windows use a Repair Installation which allows you to keep your programs and data though redundant backups are always a good idea.
I have the Windows Mobile loaded to take care of the ‘other bluetooth devices’. Have you tried detecting the computer from the bluetooth device? Forums Knowledge Base Blogs. This site in other languages x.

I am going to get an external dongle but I hate to think this beat me – us. But the Bluetooth icon on system tray was always red saying it didn’t find any bluetooth adapter. Because of this bug, it bluegooth and ‘blueberry’ is unable to use the Bluetooth. Bicycle – Mark Twain said it right. This helped me too. Thanks for marking this as the answer. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: What is the device you are trying to detect? Comment on this change optional.
This will install driver but not all the necessary software. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as “Confirmed”. Email me about changes to this bug report. Please test the latest v4. My other T40 with XP sees all these devices and connects with no problem.
